HOURS:

Friday 12:00- 10:00pm, and Saturday 7:00am-10:00pm. We are guaranteed the building will be available to us until 10pm. If the restaurant is open later than 10pm, we are welcome to stay later and continue to crop. The building will be locked overnight, and participants are welcome to leave crafting supplies at their table overnight. We have been able to add on additional hours on Sunday 10/30 from 11am to 4pm for an additional $25 (not included in normal registration fee.)

FOOD:

Attendees are in charge of their own meals and drinks. We will have a 'community snack table' for everyone to bring snack items to share. Bottled water and additional snacks will be available at the snack table. The location offers Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, and Saturday dinner on site at a reasonable fee. (This is offered through the VFW). Attendees can eat the food in the VFW dining area, or bring it back to their crafting tables.

 

SEATING:

Each attendee will have the option of either half of a 6’ round table, or a 8' rectangular table. Options are based on first come, first serve. If you request to sit at one of the round tables, you are allowed to bring in a small table to set beside you. It can’t be larger than a 3x3 table. Groups are asked to use the same style of seating, so we recommend you consult with your group when selecting your table. If you are crafting with a group, please indicate that on your registration form. We can't guarantee that the electrical outlet is directly at your table. We recommend you bring an extension cord and power strip just in case. We also highly recommend bringing additional lighting to make sure you are comfortable during your 25+hrs of crafting.

 

GAMES AND ACTIVITIES:

This crop will be low key on games and activities. We will have a card exchange attendees can sign up for. We will also offer a silent auction through our Facebook page, which will be available to the public as well as attendees. We will be offering a ScrapYard for participants to bring scrapbooking/crafting items to sell to fellow attendees. Participants will also have the opportunity to complete some make and takes.

• Card Exchange- Each attendee who wishes to participate will make multiple cards of the same design (before or during the event). Saturday afternoon, each person participating will turn in their cards and will receive one of each of the designs from each participating attendee. Attendees must sign up for this activity ahead of time so everyone can make enough cards.

• Silent Auction- We will have our silent auction items posted on Facebook approximately Oct 28- Nov 4. This is a great opportunity to do some early holiday shopping! Silent Auction will end Friday Nov 4th at 9pm. If you would like to donate something to the silent auction, please contact us at scrapping4acure@gmail.com. We need to receive all silent auction donations by Oct 15, 2022.

• ScrapYard- Have some extra tools and supplies you wish to re-home? Participants are welcome to bring new and gently used items to sell to fellow crafters. Items need to be labeled with price and seller's name. Items can be sold at the participant's table or in the ScrapYard area. This area may not be located in the crafting room. If you wish to sell at your table, we recommend bringing a mylar balloon to mark your table. Balloon weights will be available. If you wish to sell in the ScrapYard, make sure all of your items are clearly marked and can fit into a 2'x3' area.
